These drawings are twelve illustrations for the book The Sustainable Rose Garden Reader, edited by Pat Shanley, Peter Kukielski and Gene Waering (Casemate Publishers, 2010). They are all created in continuous-tone water-soluble graphite on paper.
The book was awarded the 2012 Literary Award by the World Federation of Rose Societies.
